ARLINGTON, VA July 02, 2019 – Halfaker and Associates, LLC, a technology solutions provider within the Federal Government’s health, intelligence, defense and security sectors is honored to support The Station Foundation with a meaningful donation to help advance the organization’s mission to provide world-class support to Special Operations Forces (SOF) and their families during their re-entry into civilian life.

The Station Foundation was founded to guide SOF warriors home after combat, restoring family and community relationships through programs designed to help manage the unique demands and stressors placed on SOF soldiers.

Halfaker’s donation supports programs such as the Crossing Wilderness Camp, a 12-day wilderness adventure for adolescent Gold Star children (children of SOF warriors who lost their life while serving) designed to give them insight into their fallen warrior parent’s life and help them see the way their own personality reflects the strengths of their parent. SOF mentors who knew the fallen solder well participate in the program and help honor the promise made to our fallen warriors: “You are never forgotten. Your family is taken care of.” Our donation also supports programs like Transition Azimuth Check (TrAC), a unique course that helps SOF warriors harness their strengths to continue to serve in the civilian sector, fulfilling their deep commitment to service even beyond their military career.
