Suzanne Paul, Vice President for Finance and Accounting

Suzanne Paul serves as Halfaker’s Vice President for Finance and Accounting and is a seasoned executive with significant financial management and leadership experience. Suzanne brings over a decade of experience within the government contracting industry with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, procurement, contracts, pricing, financial reporting and accounting operations. Suzanne is charged with overseeing Halfaker’s finance, accounting and reporting activities and is responsible for compliance across the organization.

Prior to joining Halfaker, Suzanne was the Director of Finance at STARGATES, Inc., where she was responsible for the financial strategy and functions, including monthly G/L close outs, internal financial reporting, annual budgets, project forecasts, cost/price proposals, company accounting policies, and DCMA ICE Submissions. Suzanne also served as the Vice President of Finance & Accounting at Energy Enterprise Solutions, a government contractor providing IT solutions and business consulting services. Throughout her 13-year career, Suzanne has served in a variety of finance and accounting roles, led corporate optimization process initiatives, and oversaw many corporate functions that supported the organic growth for small and mid-sized companies.

Suzanne is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Virginia and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) credential. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from George Mason University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Marymount University.
