Andrew Denniston serves as Halfaker’s Vice President for Operations and is an experienced professional with nearly 15 years of financial planning, management, and business operations experience within the government contracting industry. Andrew supports the creation and execution of Halfaker operations, as well as monitors the cost, schedule, performance, and quality of all projects.
Prior to joining Halfaker, Andrew served as the Vice President of Business Operations at CyberBahn Federal Solutions where he was responsible for all back office operations including finance, accounting, human resources, contracts, and facilities. He implemented and maintained a Defense Audit Agency auditable accounting and timekeeping system in addition to creating a marketing and business strategy targeted at the Small Business Administration (SBA) for the 8(a) application.
Andrew also served as the Senior Manager for Program Control at NJVC where he managed the financial performance of $500 million worth of contracts. He executed multiple projects to accelerate the financial close process and enhance reporting capabilities. Andrew excels at analyzing and improving business operations, increasing profitability, and creating business models and organizational structure to help drive growth.
Andrew received a BS in Finance and a Master’s in Business Administration from George Mason University, and is currently pursuing the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
