Jessica Denman
Executive Vice President, Health Operations
Jessica Denman serves as Halfaker’s Executive Vice President, Health Operations and brings more than 20 years of experience in public and private healthcare sectors to the Company. Her experience includes 10 years of large-scale information technology (IT) acquisition in support of the development, operation, and sustainment of multi-billion-dollar electronic health record (EHR) programs. At Halfaker, Jessica leads the successful execution of all projects across the Company’s Federal Health portfolio to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
Most recently Jessica served as Chief of Acquisition Oversight for the Program Executive Office, Defense Healthcare Management Systems (PEO DHMS) at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) where she led program acquisition planning and reporting, risk, issue and schedule management, across a $4.76 billion portfolio comprised of three major automated information systems. At DHA she managed team efforts to identify and resolve process impediments to ensure overall success of the EHR modernization effort. While at PEO DHMS, Jessica received an Award for Excellence from the former Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT&L) in recognition of her support for improving healthcare for Active Duty military, Veterans, and beneficiaries.
Jessica was an Honor Graduate in U.S. Air Force Basic Military Training and went on to serve 4 years in Health Services Management at Andrews Air Force Base. She trained newly assigned medical records technicians, maintained outpatient medical records for Presidential Support Program personnel, and supported all health informatics-related areas across the medical facility as a healthcare data quality analyst. Following Active Duty, Jessica went on to work as a Health System Specialist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) before entering Health IT program and acquisition management.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from American Military University and a Master’s in Business Administration from George Washington University, as well as a Healthcare Quality certification.
