Halfaker and Associates is a proud sponsor of the Paralyzed Veterans of America’s (PVA) Mission: ABLE Awards taking place on September 25th in Washington, DC. The Mission: ABLE Awards honors those who have worked diligently to create a world where our Veterans are able to access everything they need to live full and rewarding lives.
PVA’s Mission: ABLE campaign motivates Veterans and their families, corporate sponsors, and friends of PVA to assist in creating an America where our injured heroes can have access to and receive the benefits they’ve deserve and earned through their service to our country. The campaign focuses on supporting three crucial aspects of a Veteran’s full recovery and transition: to ensure that Veterans attain their full benefits, access timely and quality health care and rehabilitation services, and receive job training and career opportunities through PVA’s career services.
The Mission: ABLE Awards recognizes those who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership while fighting for the rights of the 22 million Veterans, 56.7 million people with disabilities, and the 800,000 Americans living with spinal cord injuries or diseases. This year’s event will include three awards: The Access: ABLE Award, honoring the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association; the Employ: ABLE Award; and the Sustain: ABLE Award, honoring UPS. All three of this year’s honorees are being recognized for their outstanding leadership and financial contributions to PVA and the Mission: ABLE program.
