Halfaker CTO Michael King to Speak at CMMI Capability Counts
Technology leaders interested in improving organizational agile performance will have an opportunity to hear Halfaker’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Michael King, speak at the CMMI Institute’s Capability Counts 2018 conference being held on May 1 and 2. He will be discussing how Halfaker has used engineering maturity models to enable and encourage software development teams to improve their engineering maturity.
Michael is an experienced technology leader with over 10 years’ experience with systems engineering and program management within the Federal contracting industry. His expertise lies in solving technology and process problems to help organizations scale using Agile and CMMI best practices. At Halfaker, he created and deployed enterprise process frameworks to manage critical activities including project management, engineering, process improvement, and employee training which resulted in the Company being recognized and appraised for CMMI Maturity Level 3 for Development.
Michael’s CMMI Institute’s Capability Counts 2018 presentation is entitled Enterprise Engineering Management and Monitoring: Maturity Models to Drive Improvement and will focus on how engineering maturity models have helped Halfaker teams assess their engineering practices and incrementally improve to better support customers.
