Dawn Halfaker Named Executive of the Year
Tysons, VA., November 03, 2017 – Halfaker and Associates, LLC (Halfaker), President and CEO Dawn Halfaker, was named Executive of the Year by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce (Northern Virginia Chamber), The Voice of Business in Northern Virginia™, and Professional Services Council (PSC). The award was presented at the 15th Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards™, the premier awards program honoring the leadership, innovation and commitment to excellence of the individuals and businesses in the region’s government contracting sector. In addition to being named Executive of the Year, the Company was a finalist in the Contractor of the Year category.
A graduate of West Point, Dawn Halfaker served as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army and earned respect as a dynamic leader of men and women in combat, peacekeeping, and in training in the United States, South Korea, Kuwait, and Iraq. She started Halfaker and Associates, LLC in January 2006 with the aspiration to continue her service to this country by offering the industry a new perspective of experience, a new standard of service, and a renewed commitment to excellence. Under Dawn’s leadership, the Company has achieved extraordinary success and growth which is fueled by the Company’s vision of “Continuing to Serve.”
