Halfaker and Associates Supports the American Veterans Center Annual Conference

Washington, D.C – Halfaker and Associates proudly donated in support of the American Veterans Center 12th Annual Conference in Washington, DC from 12-14 November 2009. This year’s conference featured General David H. Petraeus, Buzz Aldrin, and many of America’s most distinguished Veterans.

During the conference, participants had the unique opportunity to spend Veterans Day weekend with heroes of D-Day and Iwo Jima, Medal of Honor recipients from Korea and Vietnam, and the brave young men and women serving our country today. Hundreds of high school and college students were present for the conference plenary and lecture events. The three-day conference culminated in a reception and awards banquet to honor Veterans of WWII to the present. Scholarships and youth awards were also awarded.

The mission of the American Veterans Center is to preserve and promote the legacy of America’s servicemen and women from the Greatest Generation to the latest generation. The center’s portfolio of programs provides an outlet for Veterans to share their experiences in combat as well as their successes after returning home, and helps preserve them for future generations.

Halfaker and Associates’ is an active supporter of Veterans and proudly joins thousands of corporations, foundations and individuals across the Nation in support of the American Veterans Center. The generosity of donors across America has helped expand the center’s efforts and instituted many high-impact projects in support of our Nation’s Veterans.
