Halfaker and Associates CEO Testifies on Veteran-Owned Small Businesses

On 17 May 2007, Captain (Retired) Dawn Halfaker, CEO of Halfaker and Associates, was called to testify before the Veterans' Affairs Economic Opportunity Subcommittee hearing on veteran entrepreneurship and self employment. The hearing explored the current state of veterans' entrepreneurship and the every day problems these businesses may face. Halfaker and Associates remains committed to this cause because small businesses are an essential component to the implementation of strong economic development plans and veterans have continually assisted in preserving this critical element of our nation's economic prosperity.
