We are seeking a Business Development Associate to join our talented, dynamic team. The BD Associate will provide support to the business development and marketing department in the following areas: business opportunity and capture strategy support and research, business intelligence services, and proposal support for a fast growing, dynamic, technology solutions firm. The BD Associate will be responsible for managing and updating the Company’s business opportunity pipeline tracker, preparing the weekly BD meeting slides, reporting weekly/monthy/quarterly/annual metrics, attending weekly operations meetings, coordinating gate reviews for business opportunities and supporting capture managers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a member of the Business Development and Marketing Department with responsibility for supporting business development activities
  • Identifies business opportunities and manages search strings tracker
  • Provides proposal support and coordination
  • Supports and facilitaes the weekly BD meetings and weekly gate reviews
  • Provides business intelligence and opportunity reseach
  • Manages Company BD and Marketing SharePoint site and BD share drive content and organization
  • Oversees the development of, and provides oversight for, proposal development schedules, outlines, management plans, data calls for subcontractors, storyboards and writing plans
  • Supports proposals as a technical writer, including producing proposal section(s), and/or revising proposal text developed by other staff/consultants
  • Oversees, in conjunction with the Capture Manager and the Business Development Associate, the proposal production process (word processing, graphics, editing, proofreading, reproduction, printing, collation, and binding) in support of proposal activities
  • Implements structure for maintaining records and master files on the share drive for all proposal information and graphics
  • Supports the Capture Managers in participating in data call responses for bid activities where Halfaker is the subcontractor
Requirements: 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years overall relevant experience of which 1+ years includes directly related federal government business development experience
  • Specific experience supporting formal capture and proposal processes, previous experience within the information technology industry is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills with outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Experience with GovWin business intelligence tool
  • Ability to establish a solid working relationship with senior level management, technical staff, clients, external collaborators, and business development resources
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Internet research tools, Word Processing, and Adobe platforms required

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of Shipley or similar proposal development processes and the ability to implement them across the staff is required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct unit tests: verification of individual hardware or software components or groups of related items prior to integration of those items.

Description: 

Halfaker has an immediate opportunity for an Intelligence Analyst with military intelligence and law enforcement expertise to join our talented, dynamic team and support the Department of Defense’s Criminal Investigation Task Force (CITF).  The ideal candidate will conduct intelligence analysis, research, or operations in support of critical investigative requirements related to war on terrorism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops techniques, criteria, and methodologies for research and conducts in-depth analysis of trends, patterns, and historical data for national security, intelligence, and criminal cases.
  • Gathers information in support of criminal investigations, identifies intelligence gaps, interprets and evaluates information from multiple and sometimes contradictory sources, and monitors trends and events related to detainee operations, counter-threat finance, or criminal operations.
  • Develops timelines and link charts and prepares written and verbal assessments based on current events.
  • Applies focused analysis geared toward the investigation and prosecution of terrorist and war crimes cases.
  • Produces responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and finished and strategic criminal intelligence assessments.
Requirements: 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in intelligence analysis or criminal intelligence analysis required
  • Military or law enforcement background preferred
  • Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with CITF, CID, OSI or NCIS preferred
  • Skilled in the use of intelligence tools including: Palantir, Analyst Notebook, TAC, HOT-R, M3 and / or similar network analysis and message dissemination systems is required
  • Knowledge of terrorist networks, counter-threat finance, war-crimes, detainee operations, and criminal operations
  • Knowledge of and experience with military criminal investigative processes
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to review, analyze, compile, and  prepare reports and documents quickly
  • Excellent verbal communication skills including the ability to brief senior level military and civilian officials
  • Ability to work in both individual assignments and in a collaborative team environment
