Halfaker has an immediate opportunity for a Sr. Java Developer with to join our talented, dynamic team and support deployment of an enterprise workflow management tool in Fort Dix, NJ.    The Senior Java Developer will work with external and internal resources to support converting of basic forms on a monthly basis. Specifically, the ideal candidate will design and convert forms to a fillable PDF file using a variety of coded business logic and process rules.   The ideal candidate will also lead development efforts to create Smart forms by building application-like features within all developed forms.   

Key Responsibilities:

 Analysis, definition, and review of:

  • Application architecture (templates, components, workflows).
  • Communication to the customer’s business and IT teams on technical decision points and their implications.
  • Analyze Form requirements prior to development to capture their function for development and future testing.
  • Design of Adobe Team Experience Manager (AEM) configurations in partnership with customer staff.
  • Development of configurations for AEM according to best practices.
  • Clear communication with customer staff in gathering requirements and validating approaches.
  • Verify processed forms to ensure compliance to standards and adherence to both the look and function of the original form.
Requirements: 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a United States Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance is required. Interim Secret or higher is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field.
  • 8+ or more year’s experience working as an Application Developer.
  • Knowledge of form and workflow design and development.
  • Willingness to learn and use Adobe products such as Workbench, LiveCycle, Acrobat.
  • 4 years of direct client consulting experience.
  • Experienced with ActionScript, XML / Java / JavaScript development with end-to-end implementation experience.

Preferred Skills:
