Key Responsibilities:

  • Review documents daily that comprise Joint Staff taskers/actions and enter clear, accurate, complete information summaries that describe the tasker/action in the Action Tracking System (ATS)/Joint Staff Action Processing (JSAP) System.
  • Utilize scanners and other office automation equipment to enter written documents into the system and be able to appropriately organize, assign and track them.
  • Construct electronic folders, using the JSAP system, (to include tasker, scanned documents, suspense information, notes/instructions) and forward to the action directorate and coordinating/collaborating offices.
  • Perform database searches as requested by management, action officers, and other individuals outside the organization who may be checking the status of their actions.
  • Monitor status of all JSAP actions and provide daily status reports.
  • Contact action officers and administrative personnel to determine current status and provide guidance for requesting extensions, preparing interim responses, or closing/archiving actions.
  • Prepare and provide bi-weekly status reports of suspenses for the Top 5 flag officers in the organization.
  • Coordinate with counterparts in Joint Staff, OSD and other external agencies is required to obtain necessary information.
  • Review actions that are completed, verify completeness and archive as necessary respond to inquiries and requests for support from internal and external Joint Staff customers in accordance with established business process.
  • Prepare content, compile, and submit monthly status reports.
Requirements: 
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience with at least 1 year of specialized correspondence management or suspense management experience.
  • Must have experience working in the Pentagon or in a Defense Agency with exposure to how the DoD works and interacts with other government organizations and functions internally
  • Must enjoy and be able to effectively operate in a fast paced work environment
  • Must be able to multi-task and maintain visibility when multiple things are happening simultaneously
  • Be able to prioritize assignments with little to no guidance.

  • Manages technical resources (hardware, software, licenses, and services). Plans and leads transformation initiatives to new software architectures
  • Supports the Project Manager as the technical team lead on the project. Leads software design and development teams
  • Identifies gaps in requirements and solves problems for the supporting staff
  • Identifies sequencing of services and technologies that are integrated in later phases of the project
  • Participate in daily Scrum meetings and weekly Scrum-of-Scrums
  • Work with other contractor and Government teams to develop and document system architecture in compliance with established standards
Requirements: 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical area and 10+ years of experience required
  • Experience with Agile application development, rules development, XML modeling, user interface design and development, database design and administration
  • US Citizen and ability to obtain a CBP security clearance
  • Current knowledge of J2EE frameworks, including JSPs/Servlets, Spring, Hibernate and JMS

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Modernizing legacy systems from mainframes to open source technologies
  • Report development using Business Objects
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes within an Agile development environment for software build and deployment.
  • Lead and mentor a team of talented software engineers specializing in J2EE
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid client facing skills/experience

Description: 

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our talented, dynamic team supporting our client. The Senior Test Engineer is responsible for supporting our client through the entire agile SDLC process by assisting in the gathering and testing of requirements for new features and transition of legacy applications to an updated application architecture. Specifically, the Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and performing a project test strategy and test scripts, and will be required to gain a basic technical understanding of the project to achieve the greatest possible testing coverage. 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience writing test cases, test plans and execution of test plans.
  • Demonstrate experience writing automated test scripts using tools (UFT/HP-QTP, HP Quality Center, Selenium, ALM etc.).
  • Most have previous experience verifying software quality, metrics and development methodology (Agile, Waterfall etc.).
  • Most have previous experience working in web based technologies (Java/J2EE, JQuery, Java Script, Ajax), application servers (Websphere, Weblogic), queries (SQL) and databases (Oracle, DB2).
  • Prior experience and knowledge of testing within Agile development methodology, processes, and procedures, particularly Scrum, Story-Driven Methodology, Burn-up and Burn-down charts, and Velocity Tracking.
