Michael King

Michael King serves as Halfaker’s Chief Technology Officer and is an experienced technology leader with nine years of systems engineering and program management experience within the Federal contracting industry.  He has previously served at Halfaker as the Director of Contracts and Operations, as well as the Chief Operating Officer.  Prior to joining Halfaker, Mike completed a five-year tenure at Lockheed Martin within their Critical Infrastructure Protection group. In addition to leading systems engineering efforts focused on video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, COTS integration, and identity management; Mike provided project and subcontract management leadership to several projects.

Michael’s focus for the technology capabilities of Halfaker revolve around providing rapid solutions to clients focused around Agile software development and integration, social media strategy, enterprise content management, and innovative contact center solutions.  The domains for these solutions cross many boundaries, but consistently emphasize quick iterations and flexible technology platforms to ensure tight alignment between solutions and client needs.

Michael holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA and a MS in Information Systems and Technology from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
