Description:

The incumbent will provide strategic, technical and integrated project management support, including planning and development of project schedules, and input and management of project schedules.   Specifically, the incumbent shall provide metrics analysis and insight into operating performance; drive internal review process, as well as facilitates external reviews, as required; identify opportunities for improvement and drives results; utilize project metrics and ensures associated personnel understand progress and critical attention areas; anticipate project challenges and risk scenarios and prepare, lead, and execute proactive mitigation strategies internally and/or with clients to ensure optimal results. Additional responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining a Program Management Tracking System
• Developing and maintaining a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
• Developing and maintaining a Change Management Tracking System
• Performing program financial management and analysis
• Developing and planning resource assignments and allocations
• Developing and analyzing program earned value, performance, and quality metrics
• Developing program status reports, program reviews, and other program documentation
• Managing and tracking program deliverables

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in a related field
• Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) required (PMP preferred, CAPM acceptable)
• 2 – 4 years experience in project management, with at least 1 year in change management
• Systems engineering background a big plus
• Experience with Healthcare IT a plus
